What exactly do you guys do?
Laughing Sprouts provides high-quality, health-focused, socially-responsible lunches to children and adults around Chattanooga, TN. You order them online, we make and deliver them fresh!
How much does it cost?
Prices vary dependent on meal size but make no mistake, we are committed to making healthy food AFFORDABLE. Prices include a Main, a Side Dish, a Dessert, a Bottled Water and free delivery.
How do I tell you where to deliver the lunch?
How soon do I need to order?
Depends on where the lunch is going - if going to a school then there should be a policy in place for your particular school. If ordering for yourself at work same day - on busy days delivery may take up to an hour so give yourself some time. If ordering for a catering job - 48 hours notice would be appreciated! Each lunch item shows its available delivery dates; in some case you can order 2 weeks in advance.
What if I need to cancel my order?
All cancellations must take place by 3pm – the day before the lunch is to be made. Most businesses ask for at least a 48 hour notice in ordering or cancelling orders. We just need about 20 hour heads up. You can also reschedule your order to a different day instead of cancelling it altogether. To cancel your order, email us at LaughingSprouts@gmail.com.
Where do you deliver?
We are proudly serving numerous school and have catered throughout the city. We are a startup and are currently accepting requests for other delivery sites throughout the city. If you want us to come to your kid's daycare or school or your office/work space, please drop us an email at: LaughingSprouts@gmail.com and we'll get back to you within 24 hours. The more requests we get from your school or office, the more likely we can add that location to our delivery route.
What comes with the lunch?
All lunches come with a main dish, healthy side, something sweet and a drink.
Do you have gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian options?
We do not at this time have a gluten-free menu but we have made many gluten free meals. However, our kitchen is not a gluten free kitchen. Vegan and vegetarian is no problem. Even if only one person in your group has special dietary needs we will accommodate.
Uncle Sam made a nice attempt with the standard food pyramid but we think it could use some serious modification. For example, in the USDA-approved school lunch system, a kid in the early education program could get sugary cereal for breakfast and a chocolate milk and a piece of cake for lunch and that would be totally acceptable. While everyone deserves to indulge a sweet tooth once in a while, we know that on a day to day basis kids brains and bodies need balanced meals with REAL food in order to grow. Not to mention, most school lunches are made with pesticide-covered ingredients. We're aiming to get back to REAL portions and REAL nutrient-dense foods. We use as many organic ingredients as possible, and make it a mission to creatively include additional vegetables and whole grains into recipes where kids would never guess. No preservatives, sugar bombs, or creepy stuff here.

Do you have an app?
